PersonalMap
“Your personal location journal. Yours alone.”
You remember the place — but when exactly were you there? PersonalMap quietly records your visits and turns where you have been into a journal you can leaf through: every day with its map, its routes, its stops, its photos and its notes.

Privacy is not a promise — it is architecture
Your history is stored on your device only. There is no server of ours, there are no analytics, and nothing goes anywhere.
Optional syncing between your own devices happens through your own iCloud, and backups are exported encrypted, with a password only you know.
Your history is portable: import from Google Timeline, from your photos (EXIF) and from GPX files — export to open formats (JSON, GPX, CSV), always and for free. Your data is never held hostage.
It works on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch with a single purchase. It speaks Greek, English, Italian, French, Spanish and German.
What it does
Automatic recording
Almost no battery cost — you open the app once and the journal writes itself.
Excursion mode
For days that count: precise recording of every step on walks and trips, with automatic stopping. It also starts from the Apple Watch.
Every day, in full
A map (satellite too) with the route and the stops, the day’s photos straight from your library, and Look Around at the places you stopped.
Notes everywhere
On the day, on a visit, even pinned to a point along the route — written or spoken.
Answers, not just data
"When was I here?", search across your whole history, statistics with the countries and cities you have visited, and "on this day" years ago.
Your history, portable
